A hot summer weekend lies ahead. The best way to start it is with live music. Then even discovering phenomenal concert locations or event series, you have never been to before: It can’t be better!
I kept seeing the photos of the “Stubenkonzerte Aarau” on social media. Obviously a small series of concerts in the most beautiful garden setting. Now I finally got the chance to take part and the photos I have seen so far have not disappointed! Out of pure love and passion for live music, the organizer keeps putting up these small concerts in his garden.
The young French blues musician Flo Bauer is playing a “Stubenkonzert” (livingroom concert) high above Aarau that evening. On the huge property with the beautiful old building, around 50 people enjoy their cool after-work drink with a phenomenal view over Aarau, before the concert starts after 8 p.m. Placed on pallets, chairs or carpets – or quite simply along the hill in the lawn – the concert visitors can enjoy great live music.
I had already heard and met Flo Bauer at Baronessa Lenzburg before – today’s concert, as expected, was great again. Enthusiastic and impressed by his guitar skills, everyone listened to his various melodies and soothing singing.
A perfect summer evening as it’s in the books!
