Good things come to those who wait. The musician Veronica Fusaro from Thun released her long-awaited debut album “All The Colors Of The Sky” and also thrilled the Langenthal audience with it on tour.
An evening full of good vibes
Funky and in a good mood, Veronica Fusaro and her band start the evening with us to “Summer Lightning”. The happy, summery vibe is totally infectious. Admittedly, it reminds me of The Jackson Five in terms of style. The positivity of the song, however, runs not only through her new album but also through her set today, which she has put together with new and old songs. At the beginning the audience is still very shy, but after a few songs they move closer to the stage.
In Team Stefanie towards victory
Did you know that Veronica Fusaro fought her way to the knockouts in the 2nd season of “The Voice Of Switzerland” in 2014 as part of the Stefanie Heinzmann team? Admittedly, that had somehow completely escaped my attention. While watching Veronica Fusaro’s performance on YouTube, I remember that I had stopped watching that season. But at the latest after she won the M4Music young talent award “Demo Tape Of The Year” in 2016, her career really took off. And I also got to see them live for the first time that same year at the Thun festival CholereRock.
After Veronica Fusaro successfully completed her We Make It campaign for “All The Colors Of The Sky” in May 2020, the majority of the pandemic overcome, the album was finally released in January this year. Not only does the album show the experience she has gained over the years, but also tonight’s concert.
With “Better If I Go” out into the big wide world
With her single “Better If I Go”, Veronica Fusaro earned great media interest in advance of the release of her first EP “Ice Cold” in 2018. Big performances followed in Switzerland, such as at the Swiss Music Awards in the Hallenstadion and at St Gallen Openair.
Above all, however, the doors to the big wide world were opened to her: Before Veronica Fusaro has even released a debut album, she gets the chance to play in the USA, South Korea, UK (London / Glastonbury Festival in Pilgon) and South Africa, among others. She is a support act for Mark Knopfler (Dire Straits) in France and plays a sold-out concert in a theatre in Mumbai, India in August 2022.

With “All The Colors Of The Sky” through the clubs
Veronica is currently on the road on a club tour. Self-confident and skilful, Veronica lets us participate in her feelings and experiences, both positive and negative, through her songs. She plays us songs that were written on grey days when she was not doing so well, (“Grey Colored Sky”). She sings songs with her strong voice that she wrote when she was angry (“Make You Feel The Same”) or just lets us wallow through the evening with quiet tracks like “Because They Love You”. They are pop songs in a great mix with a good portion of soul as well as cool funky and jazzy elements.
With “Lie To Me”, for example, the audience’s vocal cords are strained. At the latest with their “Rollercoaster” Mash Up and the accompanying mini-choreography, the audience also gets moving. Go and definitely spend an evening with Veronica Fusaro if you can!
