Finally it’s here, the long-awaited loosening. Well, at least for gastronomie. And a few more people are allowed to be at the events. This is not good for every organizer and financially not easy, because the restrictions are still very big. Big events have been mentioned and some are now to take place at the end of summer/beginning of fall, but these are only a handful of events left.
What saved my summer last year were the small garden concerts and open airs. Here’s a list of where you could go by:
- Mühle Hunziken, Rubigen:
They have announced a lot of events in recent days. In their beautiful garden you can enjoy the summer with live music, readings or even comedy etc. Info: www.muehlehunziken.ch - Bierhübeli, Bern: Also at the Bierhübeli beer garden small concerts and events take place this summer. And my advice: If available, take the avocado mayo with your fries! Yum! Info: www.bierhuebeli.ch
- Kreuz, Herzogenbuchsee – After a delicious meal attend one of the KKB Summer Days concerts. I am looking forward to Troubas Kater and James Gruntz. Infos: www.kreuz-herzogenbuchsee.ch
- Mokka, Thun: There is also live music in the garden of Mokka Thun. I especially look forward to Eskimo. Infos: www.mokka.ch
- Festival im Fluss, Basel: I love sitting on the banks of the Rhine and listening to the artists on the floating stage. The Festival “im Fluss” is scheduled to take place again this September. Info at: www.imfluss.ch
- Stubenkonzerte, Aarau: Unfortunately I have never been to one of the Stubenkonzerte myself yet, but the pictures always look super nice. Info on Instagram
- Flavian Graber (We Invented Paris) organizes touring concerts in the Basel region. Info: www.wanderkonzerte.ch
- Migros is also hiking: After the Distancing Festival in 2020, this year there is the Hiking Sounds. Tickets can only be won. Good luck! Info: www.hiking-sounds.ch
