What a concert lacking year 2020 was. But thanks to a great summer with low case numbers, my job and innovative organizers who were able to let musicians and bands play despite the pandemic, I was able to attend around 30 live events in the end. 1/3 as usual, but a lot more than expected at the beginning of the lockdown in mid-March. But now HELLO 2021: Let’s start the new year as confident as possible. My concert year would normally start on January 1st in Interlaken at Touch The Mountains. It was of course not possible this year. Keep your fingers crossed that it can take place again on 1 January 2022 – the 17th edition of the New Year’s concert is already scheduled. My new event year will probably not start with music, but with a show by Häberli Oggier on February 7, 2021 in Mokka Thun. Let’s see if it can work that way (hope dies last, no matter how small).
