newmusicfriday Top5 – 16.10.2020

Friday is #newmusicfriday day – my favorite day. Here are my five favorite releases of the week. I like this week a lot and so many songs touched me: I finally got back to my #newmusicfriday series. 😉

#1 Bastian Baker – Dancing Without You

Bastian Baker is back and releases with his new single “Dancing Without You” my top favorite of this #newmusicfriday. The new song is a wonderful ballad, in whose video the musician from Lausanne shows that he has not forgotten how to dance. The song was written in 2019. Because of Corona, production turned out to be a bit difficult. Finally he recorded the song via Facetime. It’s about a love that broke after moving to another city.

#2 Stefanie Heinzmann – Colors

“Colors” is Stefanie Heinzmann’s new single and a forrunnner of the next album, which will be released in 2021. Stefanie continues to encourage self-love, to show feelings, to be happy.

“Why do we all have to be beautiful? I would much rather be nice, loving, friendly, respectful and funny! Beauty is just too relative! And that’s what makes it so exciting.” When you hear this song … feel addressed … imagine how great it is to look into the mirror and just think you are great !! “, Stefanie Heinzmann writes about her new song on social media. There’s nothing more to say about it.

Just listen to it! The message goes straight to the heart once again!

#3 The Two Romans – While We Are Here

The Thun rock band The Two Romans are releasing an “Extended” version of their debut album “Everything. Now” this Friday, which includes 4 new acoustic versions as well as the brand new “While We Are Here”. The band around the brothers Mattia and Samuele Zanella manages to inspire with energy and confidence straight through the ear canals. If you don’t have the album yet, you should definitely get it! It is worth it!

#4 Rory J. Williams – Party All The Time

2020 is a shitty year for everyone, but there are little golden moments, writes Sunset Sons frontman Rory J. Williams on Facebook – and releases his first solo single with “Party All The Time”. Also a song about trying to get over a broken love. One gets hooked by the song and this man just got something in his voice – you just like to listen.

#5 Colton Avery – What Is It About The Night

Together with the pianist and producer William Joseph, the American singer-songwriter Colton Avery has released this beautiful piano version of his in September released single “What Is It About The Night”. Pure goosebumps! The song definitely belongs in my top 5 this week!
